The UP Granite Youth Conference

The mission of the “UP” Conference is to educate, inspire, and inform middle and high school students about the dangers of harmful substances and mental health issues. We aim to equip them with the knowledge and tools to protect themselves and positively impact their communities.

The “UP” Conference is dedicated to being student-led and supported by adults. We depend on students to guide decisions on content, venue, swag, and all aspects of the event.

Throughout the school year, we collaborate with students on projects and celebrate their achievements each spring.  To learn more, please watch the video below:

 

2025 UP Granite Youth Conference Details:

NCHC is pleased to announce that the 2025 UP Granite Youth Conference will be held on Monday May 12th from 5PM to 8PM at the beautiful Mount Washington Grand Resort.  Check back in this space as more details become available.

Prevention Attention Newscast

 

While the UP Granite Youth initiative continues to be a youth-focused and youth-led program guided by NCHC's Substance Misuse Prevention program, for the Summer of 2023, UP detoured from its conference-style roots (both live in-person and virtually) to this year's  newscast production.
